The Haledon Lyceum Sports Club celebrated Oktoberfest in style on Sunday, as club president Dieter Pfisterer opened up his house up for club members young and old. Over 60 people attended the event which featured authentic German food, beer, and live music.

Haledon Lyceum Sports Club held their season opening party on Sunday. Hosted by club President Dieter Pfisterer and his girlfriend Linda at their lovely home, it featured booze, great food, and a sweet pool. Thanks to Dieter and Linda, and all who attended.

4/17/2004 (Paterson, NJ )

The Haledon Lyceum Sports Club celebrated it's 50th Anniversary in style on April 17th. Over 170 current and past club members, current and former players, family and friends gathered for this milestone event at the Brownstone in Paterson.

Club founders were recognized for their contributions without which the club wouldn't exist, and special awards were given to Dieter Pfisterer for his 28 years of service as club president. Everyone ate, drank, and danced well past the time it should have ended, making everyone realize the club can't wait another 10 years to celebrate these events.

The Haledon Lyceum Sports Club had a very successful Holiday Party this year. Although the party did not fall until just after New Year's this year, over sixty people were in attendence.

Special thanks to Dieter Pfistererer, Scott Shappell, Ken Kneis, Mike Rehberger, and everyone else who helped make the party a success.

East Rutherford, NJ 4/12/03

The Haledon Sports club brought a large contingent to the Metrostars home opener on April 12th. Over sixty members of the First Team, Over 30 team, their family and friends got together in Lot 18A up to three and half hours before kickoff to tailgate. The get together was a rousing success, except for the home team's loss, 1-0 to the Columbus crew before 21,000 fans. Luckily, the team brought enough beer to ease the pain.

Haledon, NJ 12/14/02

The annual Haledon Lyceum Christmas Party was held on December 14th, 2002, and was a rousing success. Members and their families were treated to great food, free beverages, and some classic German singing. The highlight of the evening was a visit from Santa, who had gifts for the member's children.
